Thailand is gearing up for a colorful celebration of Children’s Day 2025 (Wan Dek) on January 11 , with events across the country promoting education, creativity and family-friendly entertainment. The Public Relations Department (PRD) is organizing another major event at its headquarters on Soi Ari, Bangkok . Here, families can take part in:

- Games and competitions
- Singing competitions and news reading competitions (in both Thai and English)
- Exhibitions with a focus on road safety, robotics and environmental education
- Thai cultural activities, included Close Chup (fruit-shaped sweets) and demonstrations of traditional Thai boxing

The prime minister praises initiatives for children's development
Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has expressed his gratitude to the Baltic Ding Foundation , which generously donated three million gift packages worth 15,8 million baht . These gifts will be distributed to children across the country during the celebration. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of encouraging children to develop good values such as respect for elders, drug prevention and a focus on education as part of the government's long-term plan for child welfare.
