"Mamio is my true self – an independent and courageous person who knows what she wants. I used to use the nickname 'Pat', but now I feel like I can finally express my true identity through music," she said in an interview.

Her debut song "திதிர்" ("Lover") has been inspired by the music of the 70s and 90s and reflects her personal experiences through a mix of different genres. “I wanted to create a soundscape that feels nostalgic but at the same time fresh and innovative. It’s about finding a balance between the old and the new,” says MAMIO.
