Thailand is taking a major step towards improving access to housing by launching several new projects that benefit low-income earners and improve the quality of life in both Bangkok and other provinces. These initiatives are part of the government’s strategy to strengthen social welfare and economic stability.

Subsidized housing for low-income earners

In a new initiative, the government has launched a housing project that offers subsidized housing with the aim of reducing economic gaps and improving the living standards of low-income earners. The project has attractive terms and conditions that include:

  • No cash deposit required.
  • Low monthly payments.
  • Lease agreement for 60 years, with the possibility of extension up to 99 years.

Applicants must be Thai citizens, have a monthly income of less than 50000 baht, and not own any other property. The Prime Minister emphasized at the inauguration that this project is crucial to ensuring access to safe and stable homes for all.

Housing projects in Bangkok and other provinces improve quality of life

In addition to the low-income housing project, the government also unveiled new housing projects in several provinces, including Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Chiang Mai and Thonburi. These projects focus on creating modern, affordable housing in strategic locations close to public transportation and community services.

Details of the projects include:

  • Apartments in Bangkok near Bang Sue Central Station with starting prices from 1,76 million baht.
  • In Chiang Mai, a modern apartment complex is being built near universities and public transport.
  • The Pathum Thani project is located near major educational centers and has over 1 units available.

The projects offer a unique opportunity for citizens to improve their quality of life through access to modern and comfortable housing.

A step towards a better future

The government's housing project marks an important step forward in reducing the housing shortage and supporting low-income earners in Thailand. With a focus on sustainability and long-term development, the government hopes to create a brighter future for all residents.
