
Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has met with representatives from the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EUABC) and the European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC) to discuss increased investment between Thailand and Europe.
The meeting was attended by EU Ambassador to Thailand, David Daly, as well as Noah Klahan, Vice-Chair of the EUABC Board, and Parinee Adunyapichet, Chair of EABC Thailand. The discussions focused on how Thailand can attract European investment, particularly in the green transition, sustainability and digital technologies.
The Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to social and economic growth, with a focus on sustainable development and technological innovation. She highlighted Thailand's commitment to becoming a hub for green energy and digital innovation in Southeast Asia.
Representatives from EUABC and EABC expressed confidence in the Thai market and stressed the importance of continued cooperation, identifying sectors such as green energy, electric vehicles and digital infrastructure as areas with great potential for future investment.
This initiative is part of the Thai government's broader strategy to accelerate economic growth, strengthen trade and create new job opportunities.
